ABOUT ME
I am currently a Senior Designer at USAA as well as a freelance graphic designer, specializing in communication design, publication design and videography.
Before that, I was Creative Lead for the USS Nimitz, focusing on layout and design of the Nimitz News (issuu.com/cvn68) as well as all social media aspects of the nation's oldest aircraft carrier (@NimitzNews | facebook.com/cvn68).
Currently, I am pursuing a B.A. in Graphic Design.
Before that, I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and later attended the Defense Information School in Fort Meade, MD to become a Mass Communication Specialist for the U.S. Navy.
My awards include: Thomas Jefferson Award for "Outstanding News Publication", The Navy Media Excellence Award for graphic design in "News Publication" design as well as "Outstanding Digital Presence," "Outstanding Digital Communication Campaign," and "Outstanding Blog" and "Poster Design"
